Justin Hoyte – A True Gooner

Despite struggling to get into the team last season, Justin did not bang on Wenger’s door demanding a move, instead he has pledged his immediate future to the club.

Some will say this is because Arsene would have sold him at as soon as he had left his office.

I for one would like Arsenal to Justin. He is good squad player, who when given a run in the team performs well. Look at the 2006/07 season when he came in for Eboue. He did admirably and never let us down. So much so that many fans prefer Hoyte to Eboue at right back.

Hoyte is a goner through and through and has stated that when on the bench he will join in with the singing from the stands. He has shown loyalty to Arsenal unlike the likes of Penant and Bentley who thought they super-prima donnas at the age of 18.

If you take a look at Manchester United, Ferguson often keeps squad players and develops them over a period to ensure that when they are called upon they never let Manchester United down, ie Wes Brown, Fletcher.
Wenger should keep Hoyte for this reason, and we should be looking at the likes of Gibbs, Lansbury and Randall to also stay and even if they are not first team regulars, they could do admirable job as a squad player
